Say UGA loses to Texas and is also at 3 losses. They’ve been saying they won’t penalize a team for a CG appearance. Bama’s got the head to head win, but their losses are far worse than UGA’s.

You can’t jump them over Indiana.

Can’t jump them over SMU if they win or lose-again, the extra game shouldn’t penalize the ponies.

UNLV beating Boise could create a path I guess.

It’s also why preseason rankings matter. ASU has had to climb slowly from being unranked, while Boise has literally squeaked by 2 & 3 win teams and is going to get a bye.

Mateer has two years of eligibility and put up some good numbers in Arbuckle's offense at WSU. I think Jet was recruited so they would have a QB in this class. He will be in the portal in two years.
