Offseason/portal

You can fill out the roster with better players who fit a need. Frontcourt and defense is what needs bolstering, not bench riding guards when the roster is loaded with guards already.

Someone mentioned running practice? Well, you need competition and depth inside as well. I'll stand by my statement that this isn't a needed addition. A small town KS girl will always win Hoyt's heart though.

I caught the tail end of a segment on College Sports today on Sirius yesterday and heard them reference how OSU was copying TCU in becoming a ‘destination program’.

Any idea what they were talking about?

On3 is reporting that Oklahoma State and Texas Tech are the two programs to watch for Baylor transfer Yuting Deng.

Deng is one I wish OSU could’ve signed last spring. She reminds me of a taller version of Anna Gret Asi.

The 6’2” sophomore guard shot 37% from three in 2025-2026.

Bralyn Peck, one of OSU’s class of 2026 high school signees, has requested a release.

The 6’1” forward from Decatur, TX, wants to play closer to home.

This frees another roster spot for Oklahoma State.

Baylor transfer Yuting Deng has committed to Oklahoma State!

Deng is capable of exploding offensively.

Here she is as a freshman at Auburn:

As a freshman at Auburn, Yuting Deng joined the team midseason and played in 12 games (starting 8).

Deng averaged 11.8 ppg while shooting 36.5% from three.

She was named to the 2025 SEC All-Freshman team, along with future Cowgirl teammate Liv McGill.
