Was shocked to not see Jamison but I guess he has surgery in the offseason. Most have missed that.

Excited to see this season's squad in action. Interesting to see Young down at 141 and Hughes down at 133. If they're both healthy and down to weight, I believe they can do really well. Young looked nice over the off-season in freestyle, picking up wins against Beau Bartlett and Vince Cornella. Hughes looked good last season with wins over Fugitt and Orine, but looked hindered by that shoulder injury. A lot to be excited about with this team!

Kinda of surprised to see Hughes at 133 and not 141. Also surprised to see Carter Young as starter. He has been a stud in freestyle. And he has not been able to compete at his best weight class. But he has started 3 years and been disappointing all 3.

On paper the weak spots in lineup are 141 and 157.

This should be a great event. I hope to see all of it but this is the opportunity to see most of the best teams. In addition, the format will probably lend to seeing some backups/freshman. With football the way it is, I'm ready for some wrestling. This event will tell us a lot of about an interesting year. We have lots of questions this year, but expecting some good answers.

If you look at this year's team and compare it to any reasonable projections for last year's team at this time last year, we are in better shape. Last year's team exceeded any reasonable expectations. Can we make it 2 years in a row? Hard to see how Penn State does not win, but we have a shot at second.
