Middle East

The Department of War posts this:

Which, I agree is on brand with his messaging until you read the community notes (mind you this is Twitter, the most anti-woke platform)

This is a video from 2021. Sgt Maj Bull who’s in the video is no longer in. He was actually relieved of duty when he was caught breaking into one of his own Marine’s home. He has since been retired and no longer is on Active Duty.

This is the guy in charge of operations in Iran.
We. Is. Cooked.

Not a surprise at all.
Most of these guys that talk and act like that are not only not good troops in general, they often turn into jello when combat begins.
Give me the quiet type that just does his job every day any time, combat or not.

Conflicting reports that it just hit a residential area vs. a shelter where nuclear scientists were holing up.
The videos coming out showing how the hypersonics work is insanity. How long until cluster munitions go the other way?

Yesterday President Donald J. Trump told reporters he was not sending troops to Iran, saying: “No, I’m not putting troops anywhere. If I were, I certainly wouldn’t tell you, but I’m not putting troops.” Today, Jennifer Jacobs, James LaPorta, and Eleanor Watson of CBS News reported that the Pentagon has made detailed preparations for sending troops to Iran. The administration is currently moving thousands of Marines to the Middle East. They will not be in place for a few weeks, suggesting the administration is expecting the engagement to continue.

In short, the answer is maybe or maybe not.
