Middle East

No we do. You may not know yourself though because you really don't show what you say you are.
Ahhh, the chime in from the peanut gallery who NEVER has anything of substance to contribute.
Newsflash, useless turds like yourself have no bearing on me or what I believe. Now go cuck yourself since you are so fascinated by that kind of thing.

When has a bombing campaign led to political change in a country? It won't happen without boots on the ground which mean tens if not hundreds of thousands of Iranian deaths and american casualties too.

The naivete this post has after living through Iraq and Afghanistan is pretty stunning, IMO. Who is in charge in Afghanistan again? Who was in charge before 2003?
After controlling Afghanistan failed, I hope plenty of people know that Afghanistan borders on Iran and has similar topography as well as a long tradition of being independent. Like Russia, the U. S. had to find out the hard way. But at least the 20-year military project made many billions for the military industrial complex. As long as people aren't rioting at home in mass against war in Iraq, that war could end up lasting for a long time, too. Iran was in an 8-year war with Iraq. Iraq used chemical weapons. Iran did not. So, we can be thankful Trump isn't trying to scare us into thinking Iran is prepared to use chemical weapons against Israel.

The US, like Russia, and the British, and Genghis Khan, and the Huns, and Alexander the Great.... People should really read some history books as part of the plans to conduct or get involved with foreign conflict.

I think its a war. Hell, our top leaders are calling it such. From what I can gather, the President has to notify congress within 48 hours and basically needs approval for continuation within the first 60 days. I don't think the law is really all that well defined for that first 60 days. Its really grey.

And I'm not arguing right or wrong on the war. I've made that knee jerk before. I'm just discussing whether or not the President is within his rights.
That is in serious need of an update. A law written for a paper world in the internet age.

Here is MAGA leader Donald Trump today pivoting from dead soldiers killed in his illegal war to bragging about his new ballroom. This is real. It happened today.

HEGSETH: “No stupid rules of engagement, no nation building quagmire, no democracy building exercise, no politically correct wars. We fight to win and we don’t waste time or lives.”

Markwayne Mullin just did a Fox News hit in which he repeatedly praised "President Hegseth" and then said the president can ask Congress to declare war "on Iraq"

The rhetoric and completely disjointed statements coming out of the GOP tells me everything I need to know about Trump’s reckless war in Iran.

Lindsay Graham: “Not POTUS’s job to have a plan”

Ted Cruz: “No indication Iran was close to having nuclear weapons”

Markwayne Mullin: *confused about which country is being bombed*

Rep Zinke: “Thrilled to death”

Rep Van Orden: “Not ok to question POTUS”

Hegseth: “No stupid rules of engagement”

During a sermon yesterday, megachurch pastor Greg Laurie said, "We know that...modern Iran plays a role in the End Times scenario... As far as I can see, the next event in the prophetic calendar will be the rapture of the church..."

Congressional staff were told by Trump administration officials in private briefings Sunday that Iran was not preparing to launch a preemptive strike against U.S. interests based on U.S. intelligence reports, four people familiar with the briefing told @abcnews.

This conflicts with what President Trump and senior Trump administration officials said over the weekend.

Surprise, surprise, surprise!!! Who’d have believed tRump speaks out of both sides of his lying mouth at the same time?

That is fair and it is why I didn't bring a bunch of heat about it, just pointed it out.
I appreciate that. In the context of age, I don’t use the N- word any more and haven’t for probably 40 years. I still have a problem with black people casually using it. If equality was the issue, what’s the difference? I never used it as a pejorative anyway. I’ve explained my experience with cotton-pickin. Not a pejorative. I will have to have a conversation with my biracial grandchildren about the phraseology and get their take on it.

Hegseth: US didn’t start war with Iran, but we are ‘finishing it’
Blaming Iran for previous attacks on Americans in the region, US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth says Washington didn’t start the war, but under President Donald Trump, “we’re finishing it”.

HEGSETH: “No stupid rules of engagement, no nation building quagmire, no democracy building exercise, no politically correct wars. We fight to win and we don’t waste time or lives.”

And the other night Trump was also more interested in bringing up the awesome Ben Franklin statue on the White House lawn. If you can't stay focused on what is going on, how about resigning?

Since when did that happen?

Much rather be me than someone that likes defending pedos and rapists.
See, you can't help yourself. You spout complete b.s. with no contribution because of the perception that your pathetically weak little mind has concocted.

I haven't seen one single person defend pedos and rapists. I have said repeatedly they should be capital offenses followed by death penalty.

You spewing that would be like me saying you defend pedos and rapists because you are a Democrat.

Weak.

So this was the inception of a preemptive strike?
