As Democrat politicians and paid protester fume over President Trump's strikes in Iran - saying they were illegal and he needed constitutional authority, it may be a good time to take a look back at drone strikes that k*lled civilians and were ordered by Obama, Clinton and Biden.

➡️Libya:
In March 2011, Obama authorized airstrikes leading to Gaddafi’s overthrow. No Congressional approval was sought, Obama later called this a mistake, acknowledging that he didn't have legal grounding to take action

➡️Yemen:

🔷️Bill Clinton
Clinton's 1999 intervention in Yugoslavia bypassed congressional approval.

➡️The 78-day bombing blitz, launched without a war declaration or War Powers Resolution compliance, inflicted heavy civilian losses amid disputed intelligence.

➡️The House rejected a war resolution, yet Clinton pressed on, citing executive prerogative – a move the ACLU slammed as unconstitutional.

➡️During Clinton's eight-year tenure (1993–2001) more than 41,000 U.S.-participating airstrikes and cruise missile launches were conducted without new congressional authorization killing thousands of civilians.

🔷️Joe Biden
➡️Biden's 1,200 airstrikes and drone strikes without new congressional approvals claimed ~3,000–5,000 total lives, with g 200–400 civilians, a 5–10% rate from misidentified targets

How can anyone of you think @rob is what he says and not what he shows? He is who he is. All he cares about is his team.

The way I understand it, ordering a strike or a series of strikes doesn’t require a declaration of war.

Can someone tell me when "two wrongs don't make a right" stopped being true? Because during this presidency, there have been a ton of wrongs. Nearly all defended not based on trying to show they are not wrong. Instead, always it is pointing to past wrongs as if that makes bad government ok.

I'd love to see anyone defending current government actions by pointing to past bad actions show where they also defended those actions back then. Something makes me think that occurred exactly zero times. In other words, some people's ethics are "It is bad when your guy does it but I will point to that when my guy does to defend him." Ok, if that is how you want to be seen.

Do you know what cotton pickin' is referencing?

I dont think you mean that, so it would be better to use a different euphamism.
My dad chopped and picked cotton, corn, shocked wheat and performed other back braking farm tasks through the Dust Bowl days when he was a young man. My older sisters even helped when they were little. His first vehicle was flatbed farm truck and it was far from new when he got it after World War II. A lot of the time it was for a meager living by working other people. I learned the phrase from him. He knew exactly what a cotton pickin’ minute meant because he experienced cotton pickin. So get off your high horse and realize that it doesn’t have to have racial overtones.

Hopefully I’ll be back in Oklahoma tonight.

It was mostly about "it needs Congressional approval". I'm not saying any of it was wrong or right.

The same issues were being said in the past. I think a time sensitive strike such as the Bin Laden or even Maduro is a good argument. But, this is a long term breakdown of negotiations with a planned longer campaign and hopeful regime change. I can't see how that isn't war. If someone did that to us would we call it war?

People in Iran are going to die in Iran. Accept that as fact.

Do you want it surgical or do you want American boots on the ground?

I think Trump is garbage, but removing the Ayatollah, literally the Godfather of Hamas, Hezbelloah, the Yemen crisis and Sudanese crisis is a good thing.

Israel needs to be kept on a leash, and this is coming from someone who is ethnically Jewish.

Trump is also doing this to distract from Epstein (similar to ICE), but the vast majority of the 90 million people in Iran are about to throw a fucking party. Not everyone is going to agree.

Donald Trump is still garbage and a broken clock is right twice a day.

If we are going with personal anecdotes as the measure of the meaning of words, my own father used it with racial undertones. It has a problematic past:

20 year old me wouldn't have made the connection. 45 year old me doesn't see it as that problematic but wouldn't say it regardless of the current conversation just to be safe. Im also a straight white middle class guy so anything related to race, gender, or sexual orientation I try and stay in my lane. But I also think if problematic things are said without malice it's ok to have a conversation about them without condemning the person who made the comments (not saying you are here, just in general). For most of us what was considered socially acceptable at one point in our lives may no longer be so and not everyone adapts at the same pace.

Watching trumps posted statement. Not sure if it's me or what but something seems weird here. Why is he posting statements and not having a live conference?

@Rob B. is just like all the other magaś...defend every little thing tRump does...go silent when there is absolutely no way to even partially defend an action...and then deny that they are maga...

Furthermore, I learned from tv, too.
