It's not an impossible situation. You act like a professional at all times. "I'm not going to get into that right now." "I am honored to be the coach of X University." "I'm focused on this team and winning the conference title." "Being considered for other positions is a testimony to the team's efforts." That kind of stuff.

Edit: Great minds think alike.

And the players, recruits, fans and staff would correclty infer he is in talks. The players & staff (his other coaches) could direclty impact the team's performance the remainder of the year.

No need to even hint at that, especially if you are not sure you will end up there. Just bringing in too much unknown into your current day to day.
