Agreed. His "I'd like to sit down and have a beer or two with him" factor is very high. For me, being a good person is a close second to policy position on desirable traits in a leader, as being an actual good person typically factors into most decisions. Looking forward to hearing more about him.

The Harris campaign needs to hammer this. Harris had 2 weeks. The campaign was methodical. They zeroed in on 3 guys that each brought a unique advantage to the ticket. It ultimately came down to the relationship. The campaign was measured and disciplined. They chose a VP candidate that is middle America. As a "technical boomer" who misses being a "technical Genx" by 12 days (Born in December of 1964), the designation of January 1, 1965 as the birthdate of all GenX is definitely arbitrary. I consider myself an OG GenX because it's more about life experience and how you were raised than an arbitrary date you were born.
Just remember, for every baby boomer that hates millennials and for every millennial who hates baby boomers there is a generation in between that hates you both. Generation X-Less cranky than baby boomers and less whiny than millennials. Cooler than both.
