Looking at the last 50 years the self proclaimed “Party of Family Values” with whom “American Christianity” has aligned itself with and their Speaker choices issues.
Newt has been married 3 times and was divorced from his 2nd wife while he was having an affair and she had cancer.
He was followed by Dennis Hastert who spent time in prison for paying off sexual assault accusers while he was a wrestling coach (put a pin in that).
Their next speaker was Marlboro John Boehner who is now a “lobbyist” for the marijuana industry.
They finally select a true fiscal conservative in Paul Ryan but he’s not from Magastan so he has to go.
Ryan is followed up by Kevin. Kevin’s 2nd term starts w uncertainty as it takes the most votes in the last 175 yrs or so to elect a Speaker. To do so Kevin had to sell his soul. But Kevin is removed from the speakership by a fellow Republican who has allegations of underage and trafficking. Matt’s payback for this outing was a televised interview w a Magastanian GOP Senator who accused the Kevin’s outer of showing video’s on the house floor of girls and said Gaetz bragged of snorting an ED drug and pounding Red Bull so he could “go all night”. All the while admitting no one in the caucus came to Gaetz’s defense because “we had all seen the videos he showed on the House floor.”
Now we get to the current front runners.
Candidate A can only muster 53% of the caucus’s vote and won’t be brought to the floor for a vote bc the Rs can’t get to 50% +1. Seems like someone from the 99 Rs who voted against him is banging the racist drum and other Rs are questioning if he has the capacity to lead bc of his cancer diagnosis.
In 2nd place we have Candidate B. That pin we placed earlier on a former speaker w allegations of abuse as a wrestling coach. Let’s take that out as Candidate B has allegations that he ignored/enabled abuse of wrestlers while he was a college coach.
Candidate C while not a serious candidate is also twice divorced and has paid off porn stars and playmates to silence alleged affairs. His charity has been shut down bc he stole from kids w cancer. He has declared bankruptcy 4 times. He has lost lawsuits from rape accusers. He has bragged about sexually assaulting women. He has been photographed w alleged trafficker Epstein. He lost a lawsuit that said his business defrauded the taxpayers of NY and is currently under 91 indictments for criminal charges.
Why can’t they nominate and get behind someone like Tom Cole?
