As long as they aren't getting "tread on", they're fine with others getting stomped by an authoritarian government. So much for "with liberty and justice for all", I guess.

It just blows my mind that the type of people that used to scream about the big federal government doing things like the Patriot Act or the EPA stopping some rancher from draining his pond are absolutely fine with the federal government taking over cities, getting rid of their own oversight with Inspector Generals and ethics officers, and ignoring the checks and balances of our system.

Essentially, they claimed they were against big authoritative government. But, what they really wanted was a bigger, more authoritative government that they agree with. And now we have it.

It’s like government spending. The current GOP is big spending, just with different spending priorities. Big government, big spending. There are no small government conservatives left.

CPAC and other Republican groups have literally been meeting in Hungary, a full on authoritarian state. Trump gave a shout out to Viktor Orban in one of the debates last year. It's all fully out there to see, but Republican voters have been so brainwashed by their party's propaganda machine they refuse to see what's right in front of their eyes.

You haven't been paying attention. I don't give the slightest bit of a poop anymore. Both sides are terrible. Thinking the left is gonna come in and make it better is stupid. If you buy into that great for you enjoy your delusion. Both sides are the same you see the outrage you want to see.
