We hear this stuff all the time, but Im curious how accurate it really is.

For example Warren has a net worth of $8 million so pretty far away from the meme. A sizeable portion of that comes from real estate-the house she owns was purchased for $450K in '97 (pretty extravagant then but before she was a senator) but is now worth $4.7 million.

Obviously the senate has done well for her finances but not to the extent portrayed.

Pelosi is accurate but she's turned insider trading into an art form. No one is gonna cry for her if the SEC comes knocking.

McConnell is at $34 mil, Although he did it the old fashioned way and married someone whose family is loaded.

Schumer is worth $81 million so the meme is shorting him a bit.
