A lesson I should have known before the election but is now painfully clear is that people can be unwilling to look beyond their own nose. I figure after listening to 4 years of how awful things were when they really weren't that bad, well I can point out how "awful" they are now.

Yep. I think back to 2015 or so when some of my republican coworkers were talking about how awful the economy was and i was confused because everything was great.
I didn't play the game 2016-2020 because I've learned over time that politics are a stupid thing to get upset over. But like I said, this time, I'm gonna have a little fun. It's probably something I should talk to my therapist about or something like that, but it's not like I 100% made mentally healthy decisions in the past so I might as well roll with it.

It's almost like 1 side is currently easier to grift from. Remember when conservatives were furious that Obama was making money on book deals? Those same people are gobbling down anything with "Patriot" in the name while buying chinese produced garbage that the current president is hocking on his own social media platform.
And Musk has ZERO political party. I don't think any billionaires do, because it's not cost effective for them in the long run.

Don't forget all the "Biden crime family" talk around Hunter taking money from some gas company while not a peep about the 2 billion Trump's son-in-law has in his coffers right now with the first call to a foreign power Trump making after this inauguration being made to the Saudi that put that money in Jared's pocket.
Principled individuals are either "okay" with all of the graft or grift from both sides or think they all should be investigated and prosecuted....whomever they are or whatever side they are on.
Anything else is hypocrisy.
