I've been sitting on this, and this will be the last response on this question posed by @GOGETUMPOKE ...he asked: When your kids are born say you get to choose their sexuality. Which button do you push “gay” or “straight “?
my daughter has actually discussed this when talking about people saying you 'choose' a certain lifestyle...she says, "why would I choose to be gay? Why would I choose to be looked at differently, ridiculed, discriminated against, looked down on, talked about, made jokes about, made to feel 'not normal', why would I 'choose' this? It would be a hell of a lot easier to go about life as straight, but I'm not! I can't help what I feel, what I am; I struggled with it throughout my teenage years, but I realize I am gay, and I will not apologize or run from it."
So people who say others 'choose' to be gay, or transgender, or whatever, you don't have a f*&king clue what you are talking about!
I love my gay daughter, I love my straight son, I love my straight daughter, and I support anyone who has to go through life not fitting what society says they should be.
