Hey guys I say it all the time.....but here I go again......IT"S THE MARKETING!!! Or strategy or whatever you want to call it..... Bernie and AOC are flying private to music festivals where tents are thousands of dollars to rent while fighting a bill that reduces or eliminates taxes on tips, overtime, and social security. The new fresh face of the party who's resume prior to being elected was bartender opposing legislation that would have benefitted her more in her real world job than anything she has accomplished while in office from 20 million dollar jets 99.9% of folks can't afford to fly on isn't resonating with the middle class.......the middle class you just lost in the swing states that matter.
You can post a million of these and them all be true......but if no taxes on tips and OT is shot down by the dems the oligarchy message however accurate it is or isn't won't mean a thing. Cause as long as there are economies of any kind there will be billionaires.....fight for more taxes on them to your dying breath.....but when you fight taxes on OT, tips, and SS you aren't fighting the oligarchy you are fighting the rank and file.....so your motive is transparent.
The aren't fighting against eliminating taxes on tips, overtime, and social security. Those things aren't in the MAGA tax bill.

To be clear, the bill…in its current form, does cut taxes on tips and OT, but does not eliminate them. However, there is an income limit for the tax cut so your point is valid…AOC and Bernie fighting against lowering taxes for lower paid households.
Personally, I think reducing taxes specifically for tips and OT is an administrative nightmare and difficult to execute. Would rather focus being on reducing/eliminating taxes on SS payments for those that paid into system for many years (ie those with 100+ credits).
Those are payroll taxes......there is absolutely relief on the federal income tax of the wage earner. And again it's the marketing......you aren't going to get 100M+ hourly, tip based, and SS folks to read 400 pages. One message is no tax on tips.....the other message is oh yeah well payroll taxes are still there so we will kill this and you will lose out on some take home pay. Which one do you think resonates with the populous. There are also caps on income where it no longer applies.....I'm well aware this isn't a snap of the fingers and all taxes of all kinds are gone on OT. But one message is way way better than the other.
That's why the dems have an approval rating in the 20's and the guy getting a freaking airplane from a middle eastern country is in the 40s. The dems lost a significant portion of voters they can count on......this stuff is why. If you don't like that the president gets planes, removes Jackie Robinson and Navaho Code Talkers, is arresting judges, killing the dept of education as we 100% all should be come up something tangible. Because inflation is the lowest it has been since Feb of 21, the last hostage is safe, there is relief at the pump, border crossings are extremely low, the most wanted list is being captured......and the dems are fighting a bill that would put more money in low/middle income folks pockets however near sighted the bill may be. In other words you're getting your ass kicked at your own game and not making half time adjustments.
I know.......that's why I keep saying the marketing sucks. You haven't heard me say Trump Rules!! or Up With the Oligarchy!!! I manage a lot of high earning hourly folks.....many of whom will exceed the income limits in the tax bill....they aren't simple minded idiots, they haven't read a 400 page bill just as we haven't and aren't going to. Guess what has them excited now? Somebody singing no taxes or two rich people that have never worked a hard day in their life flying around complaining about rich people?

What hard days has she worked......because when you cleaning out sumps, finishing concrete, roofing a house, changing bed pans......her resume doesn't stack up. And right or wrong she is known as the bartender....now she is fighting no tax on tips for bartenders now that she is part of the machine and has a net worth in the millions......

What he's saying is that Trump's lies are very effective marketing tools and the Democrats are to blame for that fact.

No I'm not. Trump has always been viewed as a flashy rich guy, he is a poster child for conspicuous consumption. The flashy rich guy's message is resonating better with the working class. That's why I keep saying the Dems strategy is so bad.
David Hogg said the same thing. And the powers that be in the party are trying to push him aside.

Yes that is part of what I am saying....his lies are better. Previously the dems lies were better......"you can keep your doctor" is better than "there are weapons of mass destruction". His lies make people think there will be no taxes on tips.....the dems lies tell you Biden is sharp as tack. The other part of what I am saying is he can say things that are actually getting done that people actually care about and the dems cannot do that because they aren't trying they are just fighting Trump for fighting Trump's sake. It isn't working and the bad things Trump is 100% really doing aren't having the impact they should because the dems offer nothing tangible and have been full of shit quite a bit. They aren't doing anything other than opposing Trump no one is listening anymore because it's all the message has every been. One liar opens the border one liar closes it.....guess who wins. America doesn't have an honest option.
And of course there are election results to back what I'm saying and approval ratings.....but carry on it's working great.
