Fall Practice Thread

According to PokesReport, players report today and tomorrow is the first practice of fall.

This is one of the most intriguing fall camps of the Gundy era. Gundy's seat is as hot as it has ever been, OSU features an entirely new coaching staff with the exception of the head coach, and OSU faces it's largest roster turnover possibly ever. Gundy said at Big 12 media days that he doesn't know the starters at about 8 positions meaning fall camp is going to be filled with competition.

As for media expectations, nearly everybody is expecting a finish near the bottom of the Big 12. Who can blame them after seeing the product on the field last year? However, OSU hit the portal hard and may have found some diamonds in the rough. Most OSU fans would likely expect more than 3 wins yet it's hard to say whether it is more likely that they will win 4 games or 9 games.

Post any tidbits you hear from practice here.

I think this is the smallest number of kids from Oklahoma on the roster that I can recall.

And we have 7 committed in the next class.

Maybe we see more of that in the future. Kids coming in as Freshmen are more willing to stay home because they know if it doesn't work out they can go anywhere and obviously more out of state kids in as transfers because there are only so many OK kids playing at a FBS level that would be a good fit for us as a transfer

Anybody want to take a stab at a starting lineup from this roster? Or is that a totally futile exercise given the sheer volume of newcomers?View attachment 13078
