Todd Grantham seemed like a nice guy, but I didn't understand the hire at all. I certainly didn't understand why we gave him a 3 year $4.2M contract. He was the highest paid coordinator in OSU history.

It looks like Clint Bowen will step in to replace him.

I would be ok with Craddock, (Tulane) Zac (Falcons), anyone with a top 20 offense the last year or two.

Apperantly we targeted SDSU's coach to be our DC. I would be ok with that. I would love a Knowles return, although we have as good as chance as Monken coming back as OC IMO. Nick Bendetto (SIU) would be a great choice. I think Brian Smith (Rice) would be a mistake and I'm not sure Skyler Cassidy (Sam Houston) is ready.

People being held accountable, that is good to see. If Bowen doesn’t do anything but work on tackling it will be an improvement.

Chad did say that it was written into each of the assistants contracts that if they find a new job it will reduce what they are owed. That should help, but I doubt many people are going to be giving Grantham a call.

Grantham is 58. He backed his Brinks truck up to Stillwater and got one last money grab before being done. I would have said retiring but, I think he has been retired since he got here.

Football likes to give guys second, third, fourth… chances. Saints demoted from position coach to advisor before we hired him. He shouldn’t have got any calls after that.

We need to fire everyone that approved these coaching contracts (including Boynton). Everyone talks about OSU not having resources and we are throwing huge amounts of money at low talent and washed up coaches. Can't we be prudent? I won't get into this roster we spent $16M on.

Have you looked at the college football landscape? Nothing prudent about any if it.
