Sure thing MToker.

One thing I know for sure is that there is only one poster in this thread planting wet slobbery smooches on Sooner behinds….and it ain’t me.
Hot air, no substance. You're like a perpetual *fart noise*. At this point, I'm beginning to think that you either don't know how to have a rational conversation like an adult, or you're too scared to do anything but hurl insults like a 7th grader that thinks such behavior makes them cool. Heck, its probably both.

You think you’re engaging in rational conversation, Mr. “Literally nobody is saying…..”?

Oopsie.

OMG, you just perfectly described yourself. How moronic.

Troll? it's a mid major conference and we all know it. That's not a troll job, that's just the reality of things. Without OU or texas, how is the big 12 anything but another mid major? the most historically successfull programs in the new big 12 will be colorado and byu as the only programs with a title. neither of which has seen much success in decades though. besides the occasional decent 10 win season.

It is funny to me though, ive asked this question to many osu fans , both in person and on line and so far none of them have had a good answer. the best answer is kansas state and that's just sad. that's why you should want to keep bedlam. because whether you admit it or not, beating OU feels better than beating anyone else. but instead of exploring this new reality, you just get in your feelings.
Whether you think it’s a mid conference or not… it makes no difference.

OSU wins the conference and we are in the playoffs. OSUs road to the 12 team playoff is a lot easier than OUs

Here is my opinion on Bedlam ending.

It might…MIGHT…be a net loss to sports in general…though I’m not convinced it definitely will be.

It might…MIGHT….be a net loss to the State and merchants…though we’ve sold out the season, will continue to do so, and out of State travelers spend more and put more new money into the economy than visiting utn fans.

But with regards to my team, it’s clear to me that it will be a net positive on all levels.

And my team is the only thing I care about.

The rest can kick rocks as far as I’m concerned.

Just perfect.

Saying that the schedule is boring isnt an excuse, it's reality.

Iowa state, ucf, wvu, tcu. That's OU's big 12 home games, how f7ckin awful is that? who wants to go to those games? not me. i havent been to a home game in like 7 years.
Next year ; tennessee, south carolina, alabama. ALL those games are more interesting to me than all the home games OU had this year. And that'll be reflected in tv ratings.

And youd agree with me about that but youre too stubborn to admit it. And yes I sleep great at night. im excited to go to OU home games again. i havent felt that way in a while. wouldnt you be? you would and you know it. everyone likes games like that.

btw i like how you ignored the instate recruiting battles, the fact that rivalries are the coolest thing about CFB AND my question about who your rival is.

My not addressing all of your ramblings means nothing.

And I agree that's a more attractive schedule, not going to argue that at all.

My point was simple, but you missed it. Your excuse making for a mediocre team and laying it on the schedule is lame, end of story.

Lastly, very typical to talk about a certain future, blah, blah, blah. That's what people do when they know this season is lost.

It will be interesting to see what happens when ou is just an average team in the sec. Last year when they were struggling the red river rivalry drew 3.36 million viewers. Two weeks later OSU v texas drew 4.46 million. And a week after that game OSU v KSU drew 3.38 million. I think the conference will be fine.

Interesting, indeed. I'm sure they believe that SEC $$$ and exposure could enhance their standing with recruits (which could be true) and bring in better talent. But.....would such recruits enjoy going to a mediocre SEC team in a location like Norman? I doubt it, at least while Venables is there. I think they'll end up like Texas A&M.

The only reason I'll care is because I work with a bunch of uo grads and live in an area that requires me to do grocery shopping in Norman . I can't escape knowing about their existence.

They already recruit at a pretty significant level. Even with additional SEC dollars that isn’t going to change much, going from 10 to say 7 will be one player or so and those ranking are garbage anyway.

Bent Vegetable is not going to be the coach that leads them to their desired promised land. He’ll get run out of there in a shorter term than Fisher has gotten at A$M.

I’d like to say, for the record, that I was deliberately nice to any sooner I could be near once we started to leave the stadium. Thankfully there weren’t any very close to our seats.

Sometimes you really do gotta kill ‘em with kindness. It was easy to be gracious in a win. And I wasn’t smarmy about it, or sarcastic. But I could tell it hurt their feelings to accept the platitudes. I meant what I said (safe travels and whatnot), but sometimes it’s the small things.
I have been waving frantically at all of the vehicles with ou license plates this week. I am even using the whole hand instead of just one finger.

Yep, they settled for the aw shucks nice guy, that they already ran off once.

And with Texas going to the sec it opens up texas recruiting more for the sec schools.

-Sooners have lost their ever loving mind, its awesome. A grand slam.
- Loved McEndoo's tweet
- Pregame atmosphere was phenomenal. Was incredibly loud 25 minutes before the game started.
- Dylan Smith's 4th down stop was the loudest they ever have heard BPS.
- Stogner was really rough and was dominated by several of our players, including Owens on a couple blocking plays.
- Story of the game on defense was 2nd half adjustments and decent safety play, despite ou's skill players. Had a couple busts and big plays, but recovered well.
- Story of the game on offense was Ollie staying productive despite a very high percentage of plays with ou having 8 men in the box. Bowman also had great execution.
- Team stayed energetic and focused, Gundy has said he really didn't need to calm them down.

Offense

QB
- Bowman's best game as a Cowboy. Only had 4 bad throws and no interceptable balls.
- Has a calming presence on the team and made some really nice throws.
- Took what ou game him and read the defense really well.
- Had several plays where he could have scrambled some (outside of his TD run) as ou was really keying on Ollie

OL
- Not allowed a sack streak is now tied with the 2012 team.
- Did an excellent job blocking a talented sooner DL.
- Only used 7 man protections on 14% of drop backs, so that ou narrative is completely false
- Springfield and Michalski had their best games of the year. Really held their own and got great push
- Cooper was excellent in pass pro, but mixed in run pro. Birmingham had a few good plays, but got pushed around quite a bit too. one of the stuffs on 4th down was on him, he just let a guy run past him. It is obvious he is playing through injury.
- Brooks was noticeably hobbled, appeared to tweak his knee on Bowman's TD run celebration. He probably shouldn't have played in Bedlam based on what they say, but hindsight is 20/20.
- Miterko is now first guard off the bench. Really need everyone to stay healthy moving forward a depth is starting to be tested a bit. Still a really strong performance against a good d line.

RB
- Gordon is playing with bruised ribs and a really bad turf burn on knee that got reopened in the game. They think he will be resting and recuperating this week prior to UCF.
- Had a strong game running into 7-8 man boxes the whole game, but did seem to be less patient than the last few games, as backside pressure was getting into him. He missed several large gains because of this lack of patience.
- Played almost all of our RB snaps.

TE/FB
- Dominant performance by this position group. In particular, Josiah Johnson was crushing people and the growth he has had from the beginning of the year is very stark. Has become a dominant blocker and a recieving threat.

Defense
- Really nice 3-3-5 defensive game.
- OSU has the best 4th down defense in the country. Only a 16.67% conversion rate for opponents
- Came up big in the biggest moments. It was what was missing in our defense in 2022 and is more akin to 2021 despite the difference in yards per game and total defensive performance.
- The growth of the back end of the defense is palpable.

DL
- Kirkland's best game. Was dominant inside and at some points was getting triple teamed. Really active as a group and was causing havoc
- Goodlow had a good game despite getting injured and coming back into the game. Our best DE by a sizable margin.
- Waltershied is boom or bust. Makes some good plays, but also gets washed out at a pretty good clip. Still played good enough to get a sizable amount of snaps.
- their performance as a group made it it difficult for ou to run up the middle and they gave up on it relative early in the game. Got some pressures too.

LB
- Benson was incredible. Was his best game of the year. Coach Nardo said he was the toughest, most team oriented guy he has coached. All over the field on Saturday.
- Waved goodbye to OU at the end of the game. Gets circled in recap. Really eats up jet sweeps. Beat Stogner several times to make tackles. Only 1 missed tackle all game.
- Oliver almost had sack in 4th quarter, but didn't have a great game overall. Still adjusting to his new position.
- Martin only had 1 missed tackle. Led team with 9 tackles. Now a candidate for All-American. Left off Butkus Award semi-finalist list. Complete bullshit.

DB
- Dylan Smith's best performance as a Cowboy
- Cam Smith had an up and down game. Had some really good plays, but also got lost in coverage. Redshirt freshmen playing really well for their age/experience and is getting better every game. Making big improvements from the beginning of the year. Going to end up being a great player down the road.
- Daniels has been really streaky and didn't have a good game. Hope it gets better, but now 9 games into the season, is an issue. Had several missed tackles and consistent effort is a problem. Really needs to turn it around.
UCF
- Decent OL, probably middle of the pack of our previous opponents.
- Great skill position players, may be the most athletic out of the opponents we have played.
- QB is a dynamic runner, but makes questionable throws and will turn the ball over.
- RBs are quick and good, will be the biggest challenge to contain on defense.
- 127 out of 130 rush defense, which is going to be a big mismatch in our favor. If Ollie is health, he could have a 250-300 yard game. Their LB corp is not good and really struggle with motion.
- their DBs are decent, but the good numbers are just because teams will just run on them. Emory Jones had 250 yards and 73% completion percentage and cincy had two 110 yard rushers against them, just couldnt get in the end zone.

Cade 41-24
Dustin - 31-24

Awesome post. What is fact is that ou fans spend less in Stillwater than any other fan base. That is because ou fans are the poorest fan base in the big 12
