Conference Realignment - What's next?

I’m in Ft Collins dealing with family until Wednesday. Summer/late spring here is pretty damn awesome. I don’t know if Colorado State is worth a look, but since I’m a fossil and traveling more, this would be a nice game trip.
Lived in FTC from 2000-2010. Other than a short-term excuse to drink, nobody there cares enough to show up. Average attendance last year was under 27k. That is also skewed because of the horrible decision to tear down Hughes and build a new stadium on campus. Thought was it would draw students, but it did not. What it did do was reduce the number of other fans. I left after one too many September winter storms so falls are not always idyllic. Bad sports teams, bad sports management, apathetic student body and for the most part, the town as well. They all want to drink and party afterwards, but the games themselves? Meh, they do not care. I would place CSU somewhere on the D-list of schools to add.

CSU is not even on the list, the media partners do not value them at all.

I had dozens of discussions with folks while I was up there about how much better off they would be if they went DIi. This was during the tail end of the Sonny Lubick tenure when football had the likes of Joey Porter and Moses Moreno come through recently and Becky Hammons brought attention to the WBB team. They all tried to argue CSU was a better sports school with a brighter upside than OSU.

Watching CU spring game on ESPN. I hope their leaders vote to leave the PAC, and big12 says "no thanks.". Let the buffs rot.

To be fair, he told 'em to "hit that portal" cause he's bringing his own luggage. Looks like some were slower than others to figure it out.

This is comical. PRIME'S kid is calling at least one transferring teammate "crooked" for hitting the transfer portal. The irony .

Let CU rot.

There is no TEAM in PRIME. just I and ME.

Do not forget the PR. He is all about drawing attention to himself.

Thoughts? Now that the ‘student’ athletes have pay for play and zero penalty transfers that they wanted, I’m not sure I’m against a coach holding tape like this. Made me laugh honestly.
But at the same time, the film comes from a time when Sanders wasn't even in Colorado. It has zero strategic value to anyone. Basically just being a dick to kids you told to leave so that they can't end up somewhere else. It's basically saying I don't want you here and I'm going to it super difficult for you to go anywhere else.
