I honestly don't remember the last time I missed watching an OSU football game, either in person or on the tube...Saturday, I am going to miss the game...I'll check the score occasionally, but not with any excitement or anticipation...for the first time in a LLLOOOOOONNNGGGG time I am done with OSU football...no one will miss me or care that I am boycotting, but it feels good, to me...

Same. My wife asked when the game was this coming weekend because we always schedule around it, and my reply was essentially I don't care, it doesn't matter.

Should be interesting. 7 games instead of 6, so OSU is going to want more money. No big name non-con home game. Conference is Baylor, Houston, Cin, Iowa State, and Kansas State.

So K-State and maybe Iowa State are really the only big home games.

I know about 2 seats opening up in 205. 35 yard line in the shade.

There are some other reasons behind not renewing, but Gundy's "attitude", QB decision, and the coordinators made it an easier decision. I don't see Gundy doing anything after the season to change my decision.

I had the same section in 2023 (Row 10 in the sun) and 2024 (row 20 in the shade). Both seasons the seats were almost to the aisle with section 206 (around the 35 yard line)

In 2023 $425 donation and $200 per ticket and probably some fee on top. Roughly $1250 for 2 tickets.
In 2024 $500 donation and $200 per ticket plus $15 fee per ticket. $1430 for 2 tickets.

2023 seats were the rentable chairbacks
2024 seats are the black mesh with armrests. More leg room and wider. Definitely more comfortable this year.

So the ticket price went up even though there were less games. This was expected because of the extra room allotted for each seat, plus it decreased the supply of tickets. However we were not renewing if we were kicked out of 205 towards the endzone.

2025 had Cent Ark, S. Alabama, K-State, Kansas, Cin, OU, BYU. Good play set.
2024 had South Dakota State, Arkansas, Utah, WV, Arizona State, and Tech. Good play set.
2025 will be UT Martin, Tulsa, Baylor, Houston, K-State, Iowa State, Cin. An OK play set.

Should be interesting what they go for next year. I think they will increase to about $1700 for 2 tickets.

I think Gundy cares about money, family, and huntin' in that order. I don't think he cares about OSU, the fans, or future generations of either.

Honestly, if we want change, then we just have to apply a very slight amount of valid criticisms his way and watch him implode and throw a tantrum like a 5 year old.

After 27 years, I quit season tickets. Not this year. Year before last. And this was after being out of state the last 20. And it was the writing on the wall in.

In this order:

Alcohol sales in stadium. Really upped our verbal heckling. Unfortunately, of our own kids. From the 4th row in 107, fans were icing our own kicker. And this was when we were winning games.

Gundy. Same thing again and again. Unbreakable loyalty in the wrong qb at the wrong time. Doesn’t matter if it’s a blowout and he should give experience to the newcomer and simultaneously saving the first. Boggles the mind.

NIL. We are a bunch of cheap bastards that paid one way or another for that right to bitch. No way we can keep what we had until the marketplace shakes itself out.
