The White House withdrew the nomination of Dr. Janette Nesheiwat for U.S. surgeon general after reports about her credentials, and President Trump announced a new pick, Dr. Casey Means.

Her book is a little bit out there but has a ton of good info in it.

It seems that some of these docs/health influencers are doing exactly what politicians do. They had a good message, but at times maybe took it a little too far. Then they get popular or to stay in the "in" crowd, they have to push their focus to the extreme of their message instead of the substance of the message.

Her book is about eating well, sleeping well, exercising and avoiding toxic stuff. Sure, she takes some of it farther than I might and she gets into the spiritual at the end, but the general idea is good. But, her brother has already gone off the deep end from where he was and now is full-blown MAGA stupid. I suspect to curry this nomination, she is doing the same. I hope not.

So her nomination wasn't pulled because of the licensing and education claims that were misleading to untrue, she was pulled because as a Dr she believes in medicine... got it.
