If we get more of '25 Bruegge I'm here for it. He made a big jump this year compared to the previous 2.I guess Brueggemann is coming back for another year. Thought he was out of eligibility but with him being a JUCO player maybe he got a year back?
If he can cut down on the strikeouts…that would be my only critique. Too much swing and miss is the reason he likely didn’t get draftedIf we get more of '25 Bruegge I'm here for it. He made a big jump this year compared to the previous 2.
He could use more glove work also.If he can cut down on the strikeouts…that would be my only critique. Too much swing and miss is the reason he likely didn’t get drafted
Wow this is huge! First big get by Hawksworth!
Yes, if he even takes another leap that was half as much as this year he'd be all conference. If we get more of '25 Bruegge I'm here for it. He made a big jump this year compared to the previous 2.
Yes, but already WAY less Ks than last year. He was still feast or famine, but this year was a lot more feast. If he can cut down on the strikeouts…that would be my only critique. Too much swing and miss is the reason he likely didn’t get drafted

I mean he only committed 2 errors all year…so I’m good with his fielding. He made 7 errors the year before so he’s improving in that phase of the game.He could use more glove work also.
There might be another one on the way potentiallyWow this is huge! First big get by Hawksworth!
He struck out 73 times this season, and 83 in the 24 season. He only walked 23 times this season. I need the K/BB ratio to be close to even. I know he’ll have some swing and miss but a little more discipline would jump his average tremendously IMOYes, but already WAY less Ks than last year. That’s a misleading stat for first basemen. The good ones are known for their glove and foot work around the bag digging balls and stretching to get outs and reduce infield throwing errors. Those misses don’t get charged to the 1st baseman. While he did somewhat better in that area in 25, he’s still a long ways from”good”.I mean he only committed 2 errors all year…so I’m good with his fielding. We’ll agree to disagree….like I said I’m more than good with his glove. I don’t remember many games where he cost us… He’s a good defensive player IMO. Is he elite…no but he’s more than serviceable for the job. His K/BB ratio is more glaring to me.That’s a misleading stat for first basemen.
