I don't know that our NIL pocketbooks are any deeper here than they are in Manhattan. I would expect him to land at a bigger school. I would take him if he wanted to come though. We obviously have a spot to fill after Gunnar's departure.

Who does K-State lose? Maybe he wouldn’t have the surrounding pieces returning to protect him.

Depends on if Flores really is as good as some are saying. I have no idea but I'm sure we are evaluating who we actually have a shot at and if they are truly an upgrade.

If we can't find (or afford) someone that's definitely better, I'd take Bowman back in a heartbeat. Great leader who took us to the championship game without 4 of his top 6 receivers for most of the year. And if Flores is good enough to beat him out then that's even better.

I know they're going to lose their stud offensive lineman Cooper Beebe to the NFL, but I'm not sure how much they lose beyond that. A lot of K-State fans think Avery Johnson was going to pass him on the depth chart if he stayed. Maybe that played a part in his decision.

Agreed! I would love the possibility of defenses having to scheme against the RPO with OGII and Will Howard running or throwing. I also like how he extends the play when there is pressure in the pocket instead of throwing it away immediately. I also like his TD/INT ratio.

I turned on the sports blitz (I know) and Dean said (I know.. I know) he had a source saying we’re going to the portal for QB. What’s the word around Stillwater? Anything from RA (*sigh* I knooow.. I’m desperate for something)
