Cowboys at Wildcats

Wouldn't it be embarrassing to see the entire defense shift to one half of the field?

Can you really be serious about being a professional hitter if you can't take a pitch the other way?

That is just stunning to me that leaving 2 guys to cover half the field is a strategy that actually works.

Josh Holliday
Winning Percentage 65.00%

NCAA Post-Season 23-21. 52.27%

Travis Ford
Winning Percentage 61.11%

NCAA Round of 32 - 1 time
NIT 2nd Round - 1 time
*(not counting his last season)

OK, he’s not quite Travis Ford. However, he’s been given the keys to a Lamborghini and his winning percentage isn’t significantly better and his worst years have been his most recent years. It’s been 5 years since we made a Super Regional and the only other Super Regional was 2014 and then the World Series year in 2016. Six times we haven’t made it out of a regional, some of which we hosted! It’s been 8 years since we really sniffed Omaha. BTW, Frank Anderson had a 61.27% winning percentage at OSU!

Hardly the standard set by Gary Ward at 953-313-1, a 75.28% winning percentage! All I am saying is his long can Josh keep on not making it out of regionals until there’s any kind of heat on him? Seems like we’ve become satisfied with being decent but never elite.
His dad got the axe much faster, just sayin
