Who's Leaving, Who's Coming - Coaches Edition

I do believe I have seen it reported that Crill is coming to OSU. Don't remember where I saw that.

Wouldn't be surprised to see a school hire Cobbs just to try to get their foot in the door with Caleb Hawkins.

Edit: I found where it was reported on Crill

"Pokes Report can report North Texas offensive line coach Cody Crill is following Eric Morris and will be on staff at OSU in the same role."
Was he the OL coach in’24 too?

Granted, Bama can’t run the ball for $hit, but they’ve got a UNT transfer starting on the OL.

CFP note: we won’t hear a thing about Bama not deserving a spot after getting blown out.

Hard to make that argument after they won a game already. Granted it was a sloppy game against another team that didn't deserve to be there but SEC.

If you aren't top 3 in your conference you shouldn't be in the playoff. I can understand in this day and age missing a championship game due to a tiebreaker and saying you belong. Finishing 5th, go enjoy the Pop Tarts Bowl.

Avg margin for 3 quarterfinal games? 23 points.

It was worse in the 4 team playoff btw.

So when we get to the offseason and you’re hearing the talking heads rail on who belongs’ in the CFP, just know actual reality contradicts the notion that if you just include more SEC/B1G teams the games would be better. That’s purely self serving speculation.

That argument was widely made, though, when TCU got blown out by Georgia, despite them beating Michigan.
