Who Should OSU Hire as Next Basketball Head Coach?

U Washington really wants Sprinkle. I hope Chad offers him a lot of dough. And a good office. Heck, Chad should offer his own office. And all the Joe's cheese fries he can eat. And a tab at the Stonewall.

And it appears that a coach will not be hired before April 15th; when portal opens. Possible candidates leave me bewildered. I hope Chad knows what he's doing. Thing is... OSU basketball is not a desirable program. That is evident considering how many coaches have declined an interview with Chad. This is not my opinion. I am merely stating a fact that is obvious. I cannot believe how far OSU has fallen.

The next HC has one helluva difficult job ahead of him. And Chad isn't making it easier by waiting so long before hiring a new HC. I don't understand Chad's reasoning.

Never wrong? Then what happened to Alford being offered the job?
 
Dude, you’ve been all over the map. First it was Alford the man, then it was “everybody’s turning us down”, the it was Sprinkle is a done deal. Just keep naming candidates and I’m sure you’ll be “right”.

Haisten quoted Matt Norlander, who works for CBS. Who else works for CBS, and might be his OSU insider? Maybe Doug Gottlieb, who wants the job and has been on the radio campaigning, and “turning into a mess” is about his only shot.

Yes, and you would been a pitcher in the major leagues if you didn't have a trick elbow.

We don't know if DeVries was choice #1, but if he was, just because you don't get your first choice, it doesn't mean things are a "mess."

Chad will just keep working and hopefully find us someone with a track record of success.

I read the article but saw no details supporting the allegation it was a mess. Notice this was an editorial as well. I wouldn’t put a lot of stock in this article.
