More than 20,000 military families, 213,000 members of the National Guard and reserve and 1.1 million veterans need SNAP to make ends meet, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. SNAP benefits are announced in August each year, and go into effect from October 1 to September 30.
I'm sure many of those Veterans live in Arkansas. and DAMN IT, if that veteran, Soldiers Family, Active Duty National Guard Member wants to use their SNAP benefits to purchase a Coke and Candy Bar, then they better be able to buy what ever treat they want on their SNAP card.

Wisconsin governor can lock in 400-year school funding increase using a veto, court says
The Wisconsin Supreme Court has ruled that the Democratic governor legally used the state’s uniquely powerful veto to lock in a school funding increase for 400 years.

Not sure where to put this. Yeah for school funding, boo for the means it was attained. Governors should not be able to swap digits in a budget law, and that defense of its numbers not letters is pretty BS.

When everyone in research flees to Europe, how difficult and expensive will it be to try to convince them to come back in 4 years or whatever it takes to get past this stupidity? That is assuming they will be willing to risk it.
