Trump 47

2025 = 196 full time law schools accredited by the American Bar Association, so….

Basically the very definition of mediocre, middle of the road.
At any other time, the US Attorney General coming from their law school would have to be a moment of pride.

I wonder how they are dealing with this?

I think Trump is garbage and has been a scourge on our country.

I also think if Hillary won, we'd be in a sanctions war with Russia before they invaded Ukraine and a hot war with Iran earlier; albeit with a better plan than Trump had with Iran.

I think a lot of people forgot how she acted as Secretary of State.

However, we'd probably feel more confident in both positions.

"UFOs aren't aliens. They're demons."

The U.S. Vice President, who now says he's using his top security clearance to investigate Area 51 and Hangar 18.

He says he's "obsessed" and promises full disclosure.

This is a real story right now.

Trump on leadership:
“What’s missing right now is winning. You’ve got to win.

I love hanging around losers. It makes me feel better. I hate successful people and their success stories. I prefer people who like to listen to my success.”

Well said, Mr President, well said. Yes, you have perfected surrounding yourself with losers who sit there lauding you and make you feel good about yourself, as the country is of secondary importance to your personal needs.

One question, sir. You know that. We know that. But some things are better left unsaid. Have you lost control of your faculties to the point that you can't help what you say? Is that also why you joked about Pearl Harbor with the Japanese PM? Is that why any tough question is met by an insult to the reporter in place of a presidential answer?

How can we trust you to have leadership-level negotiations with foreign leaders when you can't help but spill your guts? Is this why Iran, who, militarily, we should have been able to mop up in a weekend, is holding the world hostage?

It is time for the 25th. How obvious does it have to get? How much damage are we willing to take?

I showed this to my maga buddy and he laughed...literally thought it was so funny...I don´t get it and never will...
Because, like Trump, they have completely stopped looking at the office of the President with any amount seriousness. It's just about owning libs and being the troller in chief.

MAHA was a big reason I voted Trump. It’s failed on their promises.

Out of curiosity what appealed to you about the MAHA stuff?

Some of the things RFKjr talked about were intriguing and there was a discussion on this very board a couple of years ago involving the current candidate when she and her brother were just health advocates looking for a voice. I was hopeful (maybe in the bargaining stage of denial) that we would see some good from this administration on the health front but so far they seem to have abandoned all the potential good ideas they were talking about and just focused on the crazy stuff.

They had some good ideas along with some evidence-free fluff. But like so many have come under the spell of Trump and MAGA and now have so much cognitive dissonance that they defend things that go opposite of the positions that lead them here.

It is really unfortunate because the basic idea- that as individuals you need to be focused on your own health and your food, activity, and actions are the primary drivers (for most people) and health is not the once-a-year visit to the doctor. Yet, that got lost in vaccines, food dyes, carnivore diet, jeans in a cold plunge etc, etc, etc.

Mainly food ingredient regulation that’s on par with the rest of the modern world.

I would’ve voted RFK if he didn’t join MAGA.

I think if one is willing to vote RFK, they have to buy into more than this. @steross listed several. Primarily vaccines, not just COVID, but others like measles and polio as well. Really dangerous proposals that are reviving once eradicated diseases by making false claims that these vaccines are causing autism.

Then claiming that the CDC, NIH, FDA are all in the pockets of “big pharma” to conceal all of this, without any evidence to back it up.

His message mixed in some truth about problems in our nutrition and exercise routines. Something my wife and I both have made life-changing decisions on years ago and agree with. But his narrative about the cause of these issues and the solutions he provides then mix in conspiracy theories and pseudoscience.

MAGA really appealed to the right wing anti-government conspiracy theorists and the crunchy, leftist liberal (@GratefulPoke corrected me) capitalists. A bit of an eclectic combo.
