Trump 47

And nobody says a thing. The congress, the courts, and the citizens have abdicated our responsibility to stop this. If we as a nation responded with outrage like we should, he would be forced to stop. Instead, it is in a few papers, this attorney, and nothing else.

Trump said on Truth Social that Hernández has been treated “very harshly and unfairly.”
WTF does that even mean? Our federal prisons are too harsh for narcoterrorists? How does the press and the people let him do this crap? He is sending people to El Salvador and complaining about our prisons being too harsh and we do nothing?

@milehighpoke has been making statements here that I'll be honest I thought were a little over the top when he made them. But, I was wrong. This admistration is a clear and present danger to the existence of our nation as a democratic republic.
I have a tiny bit more hope now than I did a month ago. I'm not sure why, other than trump and co seem to be taking a few more L's lately. But the dismantling of our democracy is well underway, and going perfectly according to their plan. I try not to worry too much about things out of my control, and in the future...but thinking about how long this is going to take to "fix" really makes me depressed.

I've sort of resigned myself to the fact I probably won't be able to leave the country, unless it becomes a (more) dire situation. So I'll just make the best of it.

I would like 1 single day without this admin doing something egregiously illegal, unconstitutional, and embarrassing, though.

I closed all of our Australian accounts after we left to avoid FATCA reporting but now I’m kicking myself as I try to create accounts there again as a backup plan.

Trump has told the media he didn't want this order given

BREAKING: White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth authorized the second, follow-up strike on an alleged drug boat in the Caribbean in September following a bombshell Washington Post report that claimed he ordered the military to “kill everybody.”

FOX: Does it undercut the administration's messaging when Republicans are defending strikes on narcoterrorists and then Trump pardons a convicted drug trafficker?

LEAVITT: I don't think so

FOX: You said the follow up strike was lawful. What law is it that allows no survivors?

LEAVITT: The strike was conducted in self defense to protect Americans

Reporter: “You said that you might denaturalize some American citizens. Are you trying to revoke their citizenship?”

Trump: “If I have the power to do it, I would denaturalize, absolutely.”

BREAKING: After spending the weekend DENYING claims that the U.S. Navy conducted an illegal second strike on two men who survived an initial targeted strike of their boat back in September, the White House now says that the double strike DID happen but says Hegseth did not order it.

The White House says Admiral Frank Bradley is responsible for authorizing the order to ‘kill them all,’ but they claim it was legal.

talking to reporters last night, Trump claimed of Hegseth's double tap strike that "I don't know anything about it," then moments later claimed "I don't who you're talking about" when asked his plan to pardon the former Honduran president

Just softening up his base, and the American people, to murder. So when the first Dem leader is murdered, they can say it was "in self defense and protection of the country".

How do you not know whether you have the power to do it, you're the effing President.

Of course it does Karoline, he was given 45 years for cocaine trafficking into the United States for over 10 years by a jury who heard the evidence.

Unless you are saying that the jury got it completely wrong and he was innocent. That he was the victim of a corrupt jury and judge.

Is that what you are saying Karoline?

On the "kill them all" order:

U.S. Department of Defense Law of War Manual states. “For example, orders to fire upon the shipwrecked would be clearly illegal.”

So who was it that gave the illegal order to fire upon those two shipwrecked Venezuelans? The Admiral, Secretary Hegseth, or you Mr. President?

I am so sick of the media not challenging this utter and obvious BS.

Trump handily won this district by +22 in the election. It is a RUBY RED district that only goes for Republicans

The Dem is polling just 2% behind and Trump has to put this out
