Trump 47

President Donald Trump said on Sunday that the Federal Communications Commission should look into ABC and NBC's broadcast licenses, citing the coverage he gets on Al Sharpton's show, "PoliticsNation."

So China retaliates on tariffs by no longer buying US soybeans which crushes US Farmers.

They start buying from other countries. POTUS then provides a $20 BILLION bail out to one of those counties which will allow those farmers to keep afloat in that country and continue to sell to China and keep American farmers locked out of that market

Now US Soybeans are sitting on the ground under tarps rotting and what the s this admin going to do!!!

Hassett: "China has stopped buying US soybeans. The silos are full and there are soybeans sitting on the ground w/tarps over them. That's unacceptable to POTUS. We're calling up our soybean customers around the world as part of our trade negotiations & we'll strong policies to support our farmers"

They aren't rotting. Anything harvested will go into storage or through domestic production channels. There will be some ground piles but this is standard regardless of the crop year.

Soybean (or any commodity) shipments happen year round. Near term inventories are gonna be high right now because we are in the middle of harvest. But we don't normally ship a years worth of exports in the next couple of weeks (although it would be higher than a typical month because of the time of year).

Don't get me wrong. They are going to be cheap and having a major trading partner shut us out of their market by buying from competitors is a really bad thing.

That being said the bailout is probably going to help support prices through the crop year. Once we get the crop in storage if farmers have cash from the government they aren't going to sell their beans until the price makes sense to them. And with a bunch of soybean crush capability coming online in the past 12 months there will be domestic demand.

Rep. Pat Harrigan defends Trump's deployment of troops to cities: "I don't think it's wrong for members of the administration to characterize places like Chicago and Portland as war zones when they are putting up stats of about 50 murders a weekend." (There have been 58 murders in Portland all year as of Oct. 1.)

Frank Bisignano, who currently heads up the Social Security Administration, will now also serve as CEO of the Internal Revenue Service, a new role created by Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.

My son ordered some earphones.

UPS guy shows up at door and says we owe $48.59 and he cannot give them to us until we pay it with a check.

Turns out it is the US Tariff. Apparently the headphone company is out of Canada.

So, can we stop with this BS that the exporter/importer/manufacturer/china/india/zimbabwe is paying the tariffs?

We are paying them. Trump just did a massive tax increase far beyond what any Democrat would dare propose.

The top federal prosecutor reviewing the trumped-up case against New York Attorney General Letitia James has reportedly decided not to bring charges.

Elizabeth Yusi told colleagues that she sees no probable cause to believe James engaged in mortgage fraud. Prosecutors expect her to be fired for refusing to carry out Trump’s political agenda.
