The crap thing is it won't make a hill of beans difference. People will complain about losing the hospital but they are gonna blame Mayo and vote for our congressman in 2026 because Trump. If the farm economy is trash in a year it will be Chinas fault. And somehow Walz as well because reasons.

With the passing of the bill and the supreme court giving trump unchecked power (via executive order), anybody want to bet me $50 that midterms won't happen? Or at the very least, they will be severely compromised - something akin to Russia's "elections"?

I think / hope that I was wrong about martial law. Maybe trump issues an executive order (that now can't be stopped via nationwide injunction) that anybody who has participated in a protest in the last year isn't eligible to vote. And they'll have that info via Palantir.

Stephen Miller and Vought are not doing all of this damage just to potentially lose control in a year.

Of all the things hes done this may actually be the least offensive. Ive heard the word before but had no idea it was derogatory (or that people even still used it) until now. Say what you will about Trump but hes been about as pro Israel as you can get. It would be really odd for him to be intentionally anti semitic randomly.

Counterpoint: his cabinet. He is a transactional guy and does not have any sort of commitment to Israel or anyone else. He will blow in any direction that gives him money and power.
