Heavy heart': Republican announces abrupt exit from House

Rep. Mark Green (R-TN), chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security, said in a statement Monday afternoon that he notified House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) he plans to resign from Congress as soon as the House votes again on the reconciliation package.

What Trump has been doing over holding raids in LA over illegal immigrants is so politically stupid and untimely. You'd think, but maybe not, that he would have the common sense to not do anything like that in LA until shortly after his big military and birthday parade in DC. Now I won't be surprised if the next city of big riots and violence will be in DC on June 14th.
 
ZERO logistical planning for this. He acting like the military is some video game type char that he can just put any where and they just magically all get fed, and have water and fuel etc etc and his DUMB A&& Sec of Def doesn't know any better and tries to warp speed everything to make Trump happy.

Dear GOD please don't let us get in a real War. Its just like this stupid military parade, Trump announced it made a huge push, No one really planned on the Roads being damaged by the tanks and the repairs needed after etc. Now the military had to add millions of $$ of the parade to try to move in and place as many steel plates as possible in limited time and are estimated it will STILL cause MILLIONS of $$ of damage to DC roads.

President Trump on Tuesday warned potential protesters who are planning to attend Saturday’s military parade in Washington, D.C., that they would be met with “very big force.”

“If there’s any protester wants to come out, they will be met with very big force,” Trump said in the Oval Office. “For those people that want to protest, they will be met with very big force. And I haven’t even heard about a protest.”

Yet on night one he was praising the National Guard for shutting down all the Protest and getting everything under control quickly...and that was ALL the LAPD and the National Guard wasn't even on site yet....but now the only reason LA isn't burning is because of the National Guard.

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that the military wakes up and fulfills their duty to protect the constitution against domestic threats.
