They might have a case if they raised taxes and passed a budget that was balanced. But they are just going to raise taxes and keep spending increases. No thanks.

I don’t agree w Bessent on everything but he sure seems like the only serious adult in the room. I’ve read in other places where he has used his contacts to get Wall St and CEOs to phone Trump and bend his ear. It’s been reported and I think Polds may have posted the link where he and the OMB Director basically ambushed Trump on tariffs after Navarro left the Oval Office.

If this reporting is correct, IMO losing Bessent right now would be a huge blow.
