Trump 47

Says the preacher guy who doesn't pay taxes.

Both political parties need to be flushed down the toilet... right where they belong. This country has become the laughingstock of the world.
Stop lumping both parties into the same thing. Yes, the Democrats have problems and there’s a lot of things that need to be changed about them but the way they do things and the way that the Republicans with Trump has done it are not in the same freaking ballpark This is why people like JT can continue to say both sides both sides both sides because we lump the severity of all action no matter how bad into the same cart and it’s horse pucky.

OK, fair. Did a congressman fly to Russia on the taxpayer's dime to secure the release of Brittney Griner?
I don't know. I think that was handled by the State Dept, because they were already working it vs an executive branch that wasn't trying to do anything but keep them in a foreign jail.

The challenge is you almost never speak against the things you are saying here that you don't support. But you are very vocal to support certain actions that are being taken, some are at best borderline unconstitutional. The closest to not showing support is when you make statements about wanting to wait for more info when some things come to light.

When someone only shows support for Trump, and shows that support strongly, it becomes very hard to believe that person don't support everything that is happening.

If you start periodically showing some points of disagreement abd unhappiness with him and things he is doing you'll stop getting told you are a red hatted MAGA.
You are now another person that alleges I have supported an unconstitutional act (albeit you softened with “borderline”), but you added I have been “very vocal”. As I replied to GratefulPoke, it is easy to search past posts…I don’t post on here nearly the amount you guys do so it should be even easier—— can you show just one post where I supported an unconstitutional act? If so, I will be happy to concede..and/or clarify.

As to your other item, no I am not going to start randomly posting every time I disagree with something. Yes, I admit I don’t get anywhere close to the outrage that many on here show about things. I am passionate about lower taxes, balanced budget, public education, personal freedoms, and social security solvency. Other than pointing out the myriad hypocrisy on this board (ie the Harvard item and Obama) and having fun with that…other political items are not a priority to me.

It truly does not matter to me whether you want to label me red hatted MAGA or not. This is an anonymous board, I take zero offense…and mean no offense. I make the statement of my ideology so that you can better understand where my opinions come from. My views are pretty consistent …I want limited government and unless there is a public safety reason then the government is normally best left out of American lives. My posts are truly coming from someone nowhere near MAGA.
But as I have stated, I am not anti-Trump. BTW, nor was I anti-Biden. As I have stated previously, the best two Presidents in my lifetime, IMO, are Reagan and Clinton (for different reasons).

With what is happening at Harvard and this administration’s alleged demands of the UK in regards to tariffs and LGBTQ rights, how far are we from church’s who work w immigrants regardless of legal status and/or are LGBTQ affirming losing tax exempt status?

So where do you stand on disability issues as it relates to (1) education (2) public/private (think restaurants/shopping/entertainment) (3) medical accessibility (4) work place discrimination?

You are right, I went looking for a ways and didn't see vocal support for those things. Maybe I was thinking of Rob there. The two of you routinely have the same responses to posts, so I think I projected his responses for certain subjects onto you. My apologies there and I'll try to keep that in mind.

NEW: A three-judge panel of the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals unanimously rejects a bid by the Trump administration to block an order directing it to facilitate the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, saying officials were taking action “without the semblance of due process.”

Trump: *says it was wrong for the IRS to investigate religious leaders and his supporters*

Q: “If that was wrong, why are you considering changing the tax status of Harvard?”

Trump: “Because I think Harvard is a disgrace…Tax-exempt status is a privilege…it’s been abused.”

REPORTER: Powell says he won't leave even if you ask him to

TRUMP: Oh, he'll leave. If I ask him to he'll be out of there ... I'm not happy with him. If I want him out, he'll be out of there real fast. Believe me.

REPORTER: Are you trying to remove him?

TRUMP: Yeah, next question.

Trump: Groceries, as we call it, are down.

(Groceries saw the biggest price increase in over two years last month, and grocery prices are up 2.4% since last year)

Trump: "Everybody wants to make a deal. And if they don't want to make a deal, we'll make the deal for them. Because that's what's going to happen. We'll just say, 'this is what it is.'"

In otherwords because I'm mad at them

EARHARDT: Tell us about President Trump's faith

WHITE HOUSE FAITH OFFICE DIRECTOR JENNIFER KORN: Fast forward to 2000 when he called Pastor Paula White and was watching Christian television. So remember, before he even thought about being president, he was watching Christian television.

Jesse Watters: “If you are going to talk about the rule of law and due process, you have to have a victim that is pure. You can't have a Floyd…”

So... the party of rule and order is now saying you can't talk about rule and order unless there is a "pure" victim. So who were the victims from when they were complaining and declaring themselves to be the party of rule and order. Because no one is perfect and pure.
