Trump 47

Who’s Mark?

Season 4 Mark GIF by ABC Network

Two legal immigrants who flew into Boston Logan International Airport have been denied re-entry into the United States after traveling abroad. One was deported in apparent defiance of a judicial order.

White House border czar Tom Homan defended the administration's decision not to comply with a federal judge's order to turn around deportation flights in the air on Monday.

Homan said that there would be "another flight every day" when asked about what's next for immigration efforts.

That's weird that they are $5.97 in multiple locations states away from each other. Especially with the price swings we have seen with them the past few months.

I just don't understand the politicization of egg prices. It's just another example of how the politicians and media can divide us over literally anything. And it's the dumbest one yet. First of all, any thinking person should know that the POTUS has little to nothing to do with eggs. Secondly, it's like stamps to me. When old people get mad about the price of stamps it's like, "What are they $100 now or something? Oh they're still priced in cents?" Eggs went from what $3 to maybe $6 at the peak? I just can't imagine the average family going broke over that. I guess restaurants or people who buy by the thousands? Anyway, I'm just out on this one. You all figure it out. I get my eggs from an aunt who owns chickens.

"Doesn't care what judges say." Is that his position or the position of the administration?

What actions are expected out of the judiciary to correct that mindset?

I have had the same thought for over a year now. My family goes through a dozen every few weeks unless we start baking a lot.

It was made a huge deal last year during the campaign cycle so I thought appropriate to call out the lack of promised change for a while. At this point, I'm kinda tired of hearing about it and know that short of investigating and breaking up colluding companies there's not much to be done there.

Here's my thing. MAGA brings a gun to a knife fight and complains because the other side has a knife and they don't. Yeah it's dumb now and it was dumb last fall. Biden has nothing to do with Avian flu and if Trump had done nothing he wouldn't have either. Cutting government staff doesn't help in the middle of this but that had no impact on the disease itself, just tracing and reporting.

And yeah, if you look at eggs primarily as a cheap protein source, they are still cheap compared to beef or pork, just less cheap. As an ingredient, the actual cost increase is minimal (a couple eggs in a cake and you are looking at an additional $.60 in ingredient cost, so not exactly breaking the bank).

But the current president promised to bring prices down day 1 and they have skyrocketed. Play the game where Harris wins and you would hear people howling about how egg prices have gone since the election. I'm not gonna be the bigger person and let that slide anymore. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

Q: Are you going to comply with the judge's order regarding rehiring the federal workers?

TRUMP: What are you talking about?

Q: The judge that ruled the govt has to rehire the fired federal workers. Do you plan to comply?

TRUMP: That's a very dangerous decision for our country

There is no power in the Constitution or case law to undo a pardon, but President Trump on Sunday claimed pardons issued by former President Biden were void, in a social media post that embraced a baseless right-wing conspiracy theory.
