Trump 47

Math is hard.

And confusing.

Cut 4.5 trillion in revenue with 2 trillion in reduced spending should be an increase in the deficit of 2.5 trillion. But they want to raise the debt ceiling by 4 trillion.

So even if the argument about deficit spending isn't brought up, why do they need the extra 1.5 trillion?

Not many to be honest. I'm assuming the presidential motorcade but we already have those. Outside of that, what else would they need them for?
The market for armored vehicles in the US in 2022 was $8.09billion. I can't find how much of that was government purchases, But I bet it's a decent percentage of that.

Q: “How soon would you like the Department of Education to be closed?”

Donald Trump: “I’d like it to be closed immediately. Look, the Department of Education is a big con job.”

Sanders sounds alarm over Musk acting ‘in a sense, illegally’ the hill

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) said on Wednesday he thinks all Americans should be concerned that tech billionaire Elon Musk is acting “in a sense, illegally, unconstitutionally.”

In a brief interview with NewsNation, Sanders identified “the growth of oligarchy” and “the move toward authoritarianism” as his primary concerns, amid ongoing efforts by President Trump and Musk to reshape the federal government.

“I think there are two issues. Number one is the growth of oligarchy,” Sanders said. “Every American should be concerned the richest guy in the world is running all over this country acting, in a sense, illegally, unconstitutionally.”

“Congress passes laws here,” he continued. “You don’t like those laws? You can change the laws. But you can’t just arbitrarily do what Musk is doing.”

In the first few weeks of Trump’s presidency, Musk has led a bold effort to dismantle federal agencies, buy out hundreds of thousands of federal workers from their jobs and take over payment systems within the Treasury Department and other agencies. He has done so in the name of cutting government spending and rooting out waste and abuse in federal agencies.

The effort, however, has sparked numerous lawsuits and pushback from Democratic lawmakers, who have accused Trump and Musk of operating outside the bounds of the law.

Trump, Musk and their allies have argued that voters elected the president in November and want him to implement his agenda.

States Rights! Huh GOP

Bondi: And if you don't comply with federal law, we will hold you accountable. We did it to Illinois. Strike one. Strike two is New York. And if you are a state not complying with federal law, you're next. Get ready.

While in the Oval Office, Musk's little boy, strangely named X, quite outrageously told off President Trump, He said, "I want you to shut your fucking mouth up." And "You're not the president. You need to go away."

Musk's kid already sounds too smart for his age. Probably Trump said off camera to Musk: "Don't you bring that damned kid in this office ever again!"

The judge said he approved of a number of Trump's executive orders and other plans but not in the way he wants them carried out. Trump frightens him for saying, "I can declare an emergency and that gives me more powers."

Celente embarrassed the judge by making a quote that the Judge did not recognize that he wrote it. He was thankful he fully agreed with the quote.

Celente said that Trump has send $7 billion dollars' worth of arms for Isreal. To me, it's strange to maintain a state of war in the area while wanting to claim Gaza to build hotel resorts on it.

Can you give the market for armored electric vehicles and more particularly armored Teslas?

That seems relevant to the discussion.

So you don't want the government to switch to EV's where possible?

I'm guessing it was a very low market since the government who tried to urge everyone to go electric didn't do so themselves.

Nope. Did I say they did? You said the USGov didn't convert to electric while pushing the people too. So I responded with an example where they did.
Wasn't relevent.
But since you brought it up.

"In total, the Postal Service will invest $9.6 billion for vehicle modernization."

But that $400million contract for armored is just ridiculous, right?
