Trump's Epstein strategy could pit him against loyal supporters

In defending how his administration is handling supposed files on Jeffrey Epstein, he says "some stupid Republicans" fell for a hoax.

I'll be honest, I always figured Prince Andrew, maybe Clinton, a few other sort-of-big names were there and Trump was not really in there. But, what has been going on over the past week or two really, really makes him look guilty.

And, this could be the thing that breaks MAGA in two. Do MAGAs stick with the cult leader who is calling followers out for wanting to prosecute pedophiles, or do they finally see him for the lying POS he is because pedophilia is finally a bridge too far.

So, what if Trump's name is in the Epstein files? I doubt there are enough Republicans willing to impeach him as a result.

Unfortunately we know the answer to that question. It would possibly be a deal breaker for some, but they already gave him a pass for attempting to overthrow the government four years ago and more scandals than I can count in the last decade. And they all know he's somewhat involved. Im not saying I believe 100% he was on the island every weekend or anything like that, but its public knowledge that he treats women terribly and was friends with the guy. At the least he had an idea what was going on. Its plausible that when he figured out just how awful Epstein was he tried to distance himself from him, but hes still the guy who liked to go into the dressing room during the Teen USA pageant.
