Why would they want our beef unless economics dictate it makes sense? They are a net exporter. It would be like Ukraine being upset at us because we don't normally take black sea corn. Telling countries we compete with in the global market to take it at a substantial premium to what they can pay domestically or we will make them pay is just idiotic.

They don't take our beef because they don't need our beef and there are 100 countries we can export our beef to without worrying about their nonexistent import marker.
 
Federal Government Revokes 6 Student Visas at Oklahoma State

The student visas of six OSU students have been revoked by the federal government, according to a representative for the university.

At this time, a specific reason for why these visas were revoked has not been given.

OSU released the following statement about the situation:

“Six OSU student visas have been recently revoked by the federal government. The university is continuing to monitor the situation and is focused on providing appropriate guidance and support to those impacted.”
The names of the students and their home counties have not been released. OSU Associate Director of Media Relations Mack Burke said that due to Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) protections, there is limited information about the students that can be provided at this time.

The U. S. has a trade surplus with Australia but it's still subject to a 10% tariff because Australia bans U. S. imports of beef and pork. But this Australian lady says the real issue is that USA beef in being mixed in with Canadian and Mexican beef.

$1 billion to Cornell, $1 billion to Harvard, $790m to Northwestern, $510m to Brown , and $400m to Columbia. Feds seem good at grants for private universities.
