With Chad Weiberg's contract ending and us not rushing to extend him, OSU may be moving to replace him. Who are your top candidates and why?
If Chad would man up and do his job.I think it's Baker or keep Chad.
Agree. But the board knows he's a yes man. I doubt they would give up a known like that unless it was for a rockstar like Baker. If Chad would man up and do his job.
Was just about to post earlier, what are the qualifications we’re looking for?Mike Gundy has to be gone first before anyone of note would consider the job.
My criteria would be previous employment at a big 10 or sec school. Coming directly from anywhere else in the big 12 should be a disqualifier. We are too behind the curve to take a safe or “comfortable” hire IMO.
Strength, fortitude, intelligence, well-spoken, connected, able to work parties. Was just about to post earlier, what are the qualifications we’re looking for?
So I know this is out of left field but how about Joe Castiglione. I mean he is an excellent AD and is being run out of Norman by their new GM so I think he still wants to work. The guy has proven to be one heck of an AD with his hires and fundraising. Plus it would tweek the gooner fans so that’s a plus.
He has to be white and has to be somebody’s brother-in-law.Was just about to post earlier, what are the qualifications we’re looking for?
Power struggle. The new GM doesn’t want to share any power. That would be interesting. Id have to take back everything bad Ive said about him though.
Why are they running him off? Taking off my orange colored glasses hes done an excellent job.

The jury is out on basketball. I have no idea what your YMCA reference is. I think Lutz is a great hire and he knocked it out of the park in wrestling. Football is out of his hands right now. The die is cast on that. Gundy has to perform, and quickly, or he will be forced to retire, which is what I think he wants anyway. If Chad is healthy enough after his heart scare then I would hope he can continue in the position. As far as the NCAA-basketball situation, I’ll give him a pass because (1) he was still a green AD with little experience, and (2) he may have been having heart issues then. This is tough. I think he did the right thing in Wrestling (I don't think it could have turned out better), but not man enough to challenge in Football and Basketball. Plus he went cheap on the Men's Basketball when he made a move (still think it is a crap YMCA everyone plays basketball hire). We will need to rehire that position in a few years.
Just remembered how he folded to the NCAA with men's basketball. He needs to be gone yesterday.
