The umps in this Clemson/FL are ridiculously sensitive. And the announcers are ripping the NCAA for the lack of communication to know what is going on with the umps.

Not for nothing but the winner of the last three Stillwater regionals have made it to Omaha.

Yeah, it’s a shame, our pitching especially the starting pitching was Omaha worthy. Still baffled how our bats choked in two games against down staff pitching.

Even with the fact they are in the CWS I don’t think so. Finish the regular season 1 game above .500 - you don’t deserve to be in the dance unless you win your conference tourney. The regular season has to mean something.

Josh feels pressure and it rubs off on the kids. You can feel the tension before regls even start. The constant “here we go again” rhetoric is the same crap Gundy deals with. It wears on kids and their minds. As a fan base we need to quit living in the past and trying to connect the dots on failures. That’s the Head Coach’s job not ours. If we ignore past failures and show up with a fun energetic care free stadium we will have success.

I was at two games and the crowd was the best its been in a long time. Yes, Game 7 was a let down, at least the turnout was.
I think Josh coaches tight feeling the hometown pressure, his dad pouring so much into it as well and his genuine passion to not fail. IMO it’s one of his negatives. He does a lot right but he does micromanage and plays struggling guys to a fault. Watching on tv it didn’t feel like there was much energy games 2 & 3 vs FL. Dozens of empty seats. People won’t stand much during big rallies. I think it’s a combo of long time history but not much recent postseason success weighing on JH
Fans showed up Saturday and Sunday night against Florida. Unfortunately for those fans the bats did not. Josh should feel the pressure, this program deserves more postseason success than it’s gotten under Josh.
I’m rooting for him. I hope he figures it out and he retires at OSU with a few national championships to his name but he has to figure out how to get over the hump.

Why teams continue to pitch to Jac is beyond me. I would even walk him if bases were loaded and am not even joking.
It does seem strange that his first seven years, when we were playing in old Allie P, he went to seven regionals, three super regionals and of course Omaha in 2016 but post Covid (the 2020 season was ended in mid March), he has been to four regionals, zero super regionals and zero appearances in Omaha!!! I would have thought since we started playing at a palace like O’Brate we would have made at one super regional and maybe one trip to Omaha but nothing the past four seasons!!!
