ryan walters

Is something like this going on over the teachers in other Red States? Anyway, how about finding fault with what Walters has done? I saw Tulsa FOX23 do an interesting editorial report on Walters after a recent investigation over porn seen in his office was ruled an accident rather than a crime. The Oklahoma County sheriff didn't appreciate Walters declaring he had been cleared when the investigation had hardly begun. Walters should apologize to the sheriff. Also, before the investigation had hardly started, Walters questioned if Stitt and board members had plotted to make him look bad. They, too, are due an apology from Walters. Instead, about all Walters did to respond was declare it as another victory over liberals.

It's too scary to imagine what Walters will have to do before Republicans become willing to impeach and remove him. The universal winning results Republican legislators had with the 2024 elections determined that Walters wasn't a political liability to them. Probably the best thing we can expect from Walters is to decline to run for reelection or any other election and forever disappear from the Oklahoma political world.

Midwestern red states seem to have no issue with public education. I haven't heard squat from Iowa or Nebraska about anything resembling what is going on in Oklahoma.

You won't see the MAGAs on this board (no such thing as a conservative anymore) say anything about it though. Hes one of their tribe so as long as he's owning the libs they don't care.

I believe if you have to run a state in a conservative way, then look to Nebraska as how to do it right. Nebraska greatly outranks Oklahoma in quality of life stats. Iowa isn't far behind.

I look forward to next year to see just how Republicans think they will fight the vote to raise Oklahoma minimum wage. Nebraska's will be $15 with unemployment rate currently about the same as Oklahoma's.

Nebraska's governor is alright. His family is a really big hog producer-think Yellowstone but with pigs and less crime and has a DVM so he's not an idiot.

I said it earlier here but other areas seem to put more emphasis on education than Oklahoma, regardless of politics. But Walters takes it to the extreme.

As I have said before Oklahoma might as well be promoted as the state you have got to move to before you can possibly believe for yourself the crazy, bizarre stuff that goes on there. Isn't it about time for another judge to get fired for masturbating with a penis pump while conducting court?

You are looking at it the wrong way. You aren't losing a State Supeintdent. You are gaining a new Governor.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if the idiots of this state elected him governor. There are several shitty options right now, but he is by far the worst in my opinion.
I'm NOT sure about that. I think Walters has had a rough spring and summer with Oklahoma Republicans, much worse than last year. As a result, I don't expect Gov. Stitt to support him if he decides to run for anything.

It would be hilarious if Trump was caught on a hot mic, calling Walters a weirdo and a loser.

I suppose I could create it with AI

I saw on KJRH-2, Tulsa say that rumor has it that Walters may want to resign, in order to get with Turning Point. I suppose TP would love to have him. And have plenty of money to entice him. He should resign and leave Oklahoma as hopefully accepting a position with TP would do. Other rumor has it he is going with the anti-union Freedom Foundation.

It would also be hilarious if Walters decides to run for governor and Trump endorses Charles McCall.

KTUL-8 Tulsa news just said that Walters has appeared on national media 400 times! Heck, we don't pay him with our tax dollars to do that while making Oklahoma look idiotic.
