Agree. This is on Walters, as usual.

He sent this out and will probably send another tweet out Wednesday proclaiming that Oklahoma school had a moment of silence. Conviently leaving out that they all already do so. All to attempt to raise his national profile and make Trump happy.
1 Min of silence at public schools every day is required by Law in Oklahoma and was signed by Mary Fallin back in 2002.

I'm pretty sure your 100% correct on his next move here. He will claim the thing they do every day by law was done to honor Charlie based on his command and try to present it to MAGA as him being even more MAGA and bringing MAGA to Oklahoma.

Its all a performance and production of Bull Sh**

I think most Oklahoma families would appreciate it if Walters would quit needlessly stirring up issues and controversies only to end up looking like he is trying to make Oklahoma schools look bad. He should have simply suggested that Charlie Kirk be remembered during that day's moment of silence.

True. Though, him being a raging narcissist makes that impossible. Everything he does is to draw attention to himself.

If no elected official in other red states called for a special moment for Kirk in their schools, it shows how much further Walters was out of step.

Why would they? Its the public school system. I get people really liked him but a state sponsored moment of silence is just out there. When people say stuff about cultist behavior this is what they are talking about.

No charges but I don't think anyone actually expected there to be criminal charges. Why though is the bar for ANY type of repercussions for this guy "commits a crime"? I guarantee had a school teacher had this exact same occurrence, he would have pulled their teachers cert or at least attempt to. Why is this guy untouchable with all of his missteps?

Owasso schools released the same statement.

When do we get to vote this guy out?
You are looking at it the wrong way. You aren't losing a State Supeintdent. You are gaining a new Governor.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if the idiots of this state elected him governor. There are several shitty options right now, but he is by far the worst in my opinion.

Yall don't exactly have a bunch of teachers you can afford to get rid of do you?
OKLAHOMA CITY — Oklahoma has set a new record this school year for issuing emergency teaching certifications, a sign the state’s teacher shortage has progressed.

The state issued a new all-time high of 4,676 emergency certifications from June through December, representing teaching hires for the 2023-24 school year. The previous record was set last school year with 4,574.

Is something like this going on over the teachers in other Red States? Anyway, how about finding fault with what Walters has done? I saw Tulsa FOX23 do an interesting editorial report on Walters after a recent investigation over porn seen in his office was ruled an accident rather than a crime. The Oklahoma County sheriff didn't appreciate Walters declaring he had been cleared when the investigation had hardly begun. Walters should apologize to the sheriff. Also, before the investigation had hardly started, Walters questioned if Stitt and board members had plotted to make him look bad. They, too, are due an apology from Walters. Instead, about all Walters did to respond was declare it as another victory over liberals.

It's too scary to imagine what Walters will have to do before Republicans become willing to impeach and remove him. The universal winning results Republican legislators had with the 2024 elections determined that Walters wasn't a political liability to them. Probably the best thing we can expect from Walters is to decline to run for reelection or any other election and forever disappear from the Oklahoma political world.
