But doing your job means voting out Republican incumbents on election day, including primary day. But most Oklahomans aren't willing to do that. Anyway, if you wouldn't vote for a Democrat in a million years in November, at least vote out the Republican incumbent on primary election day.

I think one teacher said Kirk brought out the worst in people. That's true considering the hateful things he said about minorities, including transgenders. Alex Jones also brought out the worst in people as in Sandy Hook parents getting harassed. Would Walters want a teacher fired for bringing that up?

The worst thing that should have to happen to the teacher is having opposing free speech back at him. With the shortage of teachers, it would be stupid and counterproductive to fire him, especially if he is fully qualified to teach in his position.

It seems that a teacher can repost controversial quotes from Charlie Kirk and Ryan Walters will get his panties in a wad and want to revoke that teacher's license and be fired. With such an extreme shortage of teachers in Oklahoma, especially those fully qualified to teach, that is abject crazy.

There is apparently nothing on record that indicates that Kirk ever got banned from speaking at a college campus from the result of making any controversial statements.

There will be a lot of emails like that since a moment of silence is already observed at schools. They will not add another moment of silence.
Plus doing so at noon is silly. Many schools have that time as a lunch period.

Our schools shouldn't have to send out multiple "we're going to follow the law and our procedures" emails in a single year bc of the state superintendent issuing a memo in or directive for them to do something he can't tell them to do. This isn't the first time this year and I doubt it's the last.

Agree. This is on Walters, as usual.

He sent this out and will probably send another tweet out Wednesday proclaiming that Oklahoma school had a moment of silence. Conviently leaving out that they all already do so. All to attempt to raise his national profile and make Trump happy.
