Yes. We’ve had good pitching but we never put it all together in the post season. Like last year. We always seem to falter somewhere. And that lies on the head man. This is in no way a defense of rob. I’m glad he won’t be back. But imagine Josh has to make no pitching decisions, and still cant make us better offensively or defensively.

Yes but both have also missed the tournament. But I get what you’re saying. In the end would you trade Omaha for a missed tournament or 2.

It comes down to playing like a well coached team. Every year they get hot for a bit because they have talented hitters and some talented arms, but they crumble when it matters most. The Big 12 tournament does not matter most, btw.

That whole green base thing may well be the single stupidest rule I have ever seen in over 60 years of playing, coaching, umpiring, and watching baseball. Particularly at the college level.

Yeah I’m with you. I’m not saying you’re wrong at all. I would miss the post season to get to Omaha. But missing the post season gets you fired, losing regionals usually doesn’t. So if you’re Josh then I’m not sure you make that trade.

I think Ure is done…Phillips has one more year..we need to build on this freshman group and find pitchers who can throw strikes regardless of velocity

So many areas to improve on, but the defense has to be at the top. It was absolutely atrocious. In all my years of watching OSU baseball this was absolutely the worst at defensive fundamentals.

Agreed. Bad decisions hurt them as much if not more than the bad play

Josh hasn’t leaned defense and pitching win championships. Mind boggling.

Of course people saying fire Josh, others saying they are glad Rob is done as you would expect, but others making excuses including a guy that works for OSU Max, of course the Chief who goes way overboard calling out fans on Twtter, and weirdly out of nowhere Gage Green created an account to call out fans.

Well, that's another OSU sports season (I know track is still going). Major disappointment for the most part. Hopefuly '25-26 is better.
