This isn't on the coaching, this is on Bodendorf. I've been as critical of Rob as anyone but come on. He had a multi run lead against KU also in the Big 12 tournament (when the offense was really good against KU's ace) and couldn't hold that either. An ace has to pitch like an ace with a lead in these types of post season games and he hasn't done it in either game.

This Georgia team is a bunch of punks as others have said. I don't see us stepping up and knocking them off but hopefully Duke will end their season tonight.

Well said! Hard to blame Walton when your ace isn’t executing pitches consistently. He’s pitching like the moment is way too big for him

BS. If you can’t see he is completely out of sync, then I’m sorry. If I remember right he pitched out of sequence against KU and not going and getting him when it was clear he was done. This is 100% on coaching. When in his normal spot he was overpowering. We got cutsie and it completely fouled him up.
