Regional Round

Because playing in a sec stadium is nerve wracking. Esp after sitting 2-3 days and doing nothing. Playing at Baylor KSU KU and WVU is a whooole lot different than playing in a raucous Baum Stadium in FVille or at Ole Miss or at LSU. It’s intimidating
One thing I thought about going into this regional was exactly this. Especially with the "new" Big 12 and if you look at our conference road series this year. Not a lot of intimidating parks left in the new Big 12 and we didn't play at TCU or Texas Tech which have traditionally been two of the tougher road venues.

Utah
Cincy
Baylor
KU
Arizona

Those were the conference road series and none are a SEC type environment at all.

With every guy out of the bullpen, we're just hoping they're good. There's not one reliable arm.

We were lucky to get what we got out of Blake but sending him back out was never going to work out.

Yep the bullpen has been a mess all season. Zero consistency and always a game of chance on which guy would be decent and who wouldn't be. As inconsistent of a bullpen as you'll see. Team counted on the starting rotation all year and unfortunately Youngerman got sick at the worst time and Bodendorf had his worst outing of the year. Weren't going to go far in regionals if you'd said they'd get 0 pitches out of Youngerman and a bad outing from HB.
