Jordyn and Jayden Raney, who were expected to commit to Iowa today, just committed to the Cowboys live on Flowrestling. They're the #5 and #6 ranked high school wrestlers of the 2026 class. This means that OSU now has 4 of the top 7 high school recruits of the 2026 class. The brothers stated that they aim to wrestle at 133lbs and 149lbs for the cowboys. Both brothers have won U17 gold medals and Jayden has even secured a USA Senior world team for Greco at 55kgs. DT and staff has been putting together a super impressive recruiting class. Here's a look at the potential 2026-2027 lineup:
125: Spratley (RSSR), Ramirez (RSFR)
133: Raney (FR), Sakamoto (RSSO), McComas (RSSO)
141: Forrest (FR), Hughes (RSSO)
149: Swiderski (RSSR), Jamison (RSSR), Vega (RSFR), Raney (FR)
157: Robideau (RSFR), Hickman (RSFR)
165: Lockett (SO), Routledge (RSFR), Young (RSSO)
174: Facundo (RSSR)
184: Ryder (RSSO), Thompson (RSJR), Robb (RSJR)
197: Merrill (RSSO)
285: Ross (RSFR)
Obviously this is just a prediction and the lineup could significantly change but this is just an educated guess based on the information currently available to us. I believe Hughes, Swiderski, Jamison, Vega, Robideau, and may even Lockett could go different weights by this time.
