I hope Hejny is starting because he is the best QB and not because the extra mobility is needed to compensate for a bad offensive line. If all things are equal, then the logical decision is always the best passer that can stretch the field vertically and to the boundary.

Thanks for posting pronunciation chart. At least I will know who Hoss Haynee and Zane FLOORS are when Dave and John say their name. I was gonna pull a Gundy and just refer to Hejny as “number 8”

I am surprised that Gundy named Hejny as the starter. I thought for sure we were either going to get Zane because he’s been here longer or we would see both qb’s alternating in real game time against UTM to see who was the starter.

POI: I see Flores listed as R-Fr. Did he get a medical redshirt or waiver for last year. I thought Flores was a R-So this year.

Hejny is getting the first start of the season, but Flores is expected to play as well. I don't think the starting QB role is set in stone yet.

It’s going to be hard to keep Hauss off the field. His speed of 4.45 and his ability to run the ball is going to soften defenses. He is the fastest qb OSU has ever put on the field.
