If you have elite hitters like Matt Holliday and Robin Ventura as part of your program and your players can’t hit worth a damn, your problem is who you’re recruiting to your program.

Finger now on the panic button. This UCF team is going to finish in the bottom 3 or 4 in the league and we are on the verge of being swept. Our offense and bullpen are atrocious. Did they think this trip was a vacation to Disney?!!!

Uninspired baseball is his brand and guys do not develop in the program. They regress.

I am as frustrated as anyone with the play of this team to date. But let’s pump the brakes on the sub 500 season talk. To be fair we have multiple freshmen starting and playing significant time due to injuries to seasoned, successful starters. They will come back and be more consistent. Although the freshmen have played well. Let’s see how they’re playing when the seasoned starters return before we expect a sub 500 season.

but the T8 where we could have at least scratched out an insurance run is where we lost the game especially with a runner at second with less than 2 outs

I feel sorry for Holiday going out there and pitching his guts out once again with little to no offense and little league coaches running the show

Current standings show us in next to last place at 0-2. The only team below us is Baylor which is 0-4 in conference. OU is 4-0 and alone in first place. I guess I’m a girls softball fan until football season starts again. Hopefully our wrestlers will perform a little better in Kansas City than they did in Tulsa.

Texas doesn’t bother me as much. They’re a historically stronger program than us. Ou baseball success for me is suffering.
