OT: NFL Thread

Officials giving Dallas a chance to win this game.
Did you watch last night?

Dallas gifted an egregious facemask penalty on the Giants TE-while the Cowboys defender was committing the facemask on him. Totally called it on the wrong guy. Instead of 1st & 10 at the Dallas 17, NY had to kick a 52 yard FG. One of the worst calls you’ve ever seen.

Then on the Cowboys TD down the sideline, the DB is clearly held by the WR. Flag actually got thrown because it happened right in front of the official. Replay totally confirmed it. Flag is just picked up with no explanation and the TD stands.

Two just critical calls in a tight game. Neither was borderline or subjective. Really a terrible night for that crew.

Moving this thread to the OSU Football forum for increased visibility with an OT marker.

Pretty impressed with the turnaround Sam Darnold has made. There are some NFL organizations that seem to be very bad for young QBs and he was a part of two of them.

Meh, nice story but he also returned to form with a terrible QBR for like two weeks there.
There’s a reason Shanahan went with Purdy and not Darnold.

Al Michaels was way less excited than he should have been on that play, haha. He's been a great commentator, but it's time to hang it up.
Maybe he was like our soon to be former President and sprung a leak in the old Depends as Tylan was making those moves! 🤔

I would love to see the Bears hire Todd Monken as HC. I think he has helped Lamar Jackson a lot and could do the same for Caleb Williams.
