OT: General CFB Thread

Big 12 getting discussed today on Sirius. A lot of discussion on Farmageddon on Week 0. Kind of interesting that most of the teams who’ve played the game in Ireland went on to have bad seasons. Kstate also gets 3 bye weeks as a result of playing in Week 0.

Unrelated but if OSU got invited to the game in Ireland, I think I’d have to go.

👀………not sure I care that our QB’s haven’t thrown a pass in college.

You’d think that for the $$$ ESPN is shelling out to the SEC they’d want another week of competitive games from the conference, but here’s Rece Davis arguing in favor of the 8 game SEC schedule and completely missing the entire point critics are raising.

The preseason polls and scheduling structure are a rigged, self fulfilling system that benefit the SEC every year. Kinda sad seeing them so in the tank for one conference.

I know the NCAA is changed, but it really hacks me off that the Michigan football program did not have to vacate any wins and remains eligible for the playoffs. Compared to what the NCAA did to our basketball program for former coach violations, it's just plain unjust.

They aren’t going to touch them, the goon qb was probably gambling and won’t get anything, it’s all stupid.

And the salt in the wound is that UNC, Michigan and KU absolutely didn’t cooperate, yet they come out with a slap on the wrist.

Without any real ability to penalize the schools, the rules are meaningless.
